Patent Infringement

This animation was produced to show the construction and operation of this product for a patent infringement case.

animation

Product Failure

This animation illustrates the dynamics involved in the separation of the car seat form it’s base in a side impact. The vehicle was hit on the left driver’s side. The car seat’s lateral support bracket failed, leading to the additional failure of the car seat’s dual locking mechanism. The seat and child were ejected from the vehicle.

animation

Product Assembly

This animation shows a detailed cut-away of a Kamatsu Power Press clutch assembly.

animation

Structural Failure

This animation demonstrates the collapse of a 60 ft. high bridge caisson. The collapse occurred because the concrete was poured faster than the curing rate. Four workers were killed.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates the motorcycle rider's view as a car turned into his lane causing him to crash into the backend of that vehicle.

animation

Crime Scene Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates what happened in a drive-by shooting investigation. We show the bullets trajectories and impact points.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates how the carriage assembly released from a fork lift during maintenance; the lower hook assembly was not adjusted. As a result, when a load was applied the carriage slipped off the mast.

animation

Manufacturing Process

This animation demonstrates the process of applying asbestos to sheet metal for fire-proofing, a process that has not been used for over 45 years. The animation was compiled from verbal references only.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates how a fire in a blocked exhaust duct allowed combustible material to back up into the roasting chamber, which caused an explosion.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This is a simulation of both the atmospheric conditions, and reflective environment within the vehicle at the time of the accident. The question was whether the driver was able to see the woman sunbathing in the driveway.

animation

Accident Reconstruction: POV 1

This view of the accident demonstrates what the bus driver did. Rather than wait for the child to finish crossing the street, she waited only until the child reached the island divider and then left.

animation

Accident Reconstruction: POV 2

This view demonstrates what the bus driver would have seen if she did not leave the area prior to the accident. She had plenty of time to use her loud speaker to warn the child of the approaching vehicle.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates an accident between a car and truck. The car ran a red light and the driver of the truck began to move his vehicle from the left to the right lane. The car initially was turning into the left lane, but then veered into the right lane in front of the truck.

animation

Accident Reconstruction

This animation demonstrates the path that the injured party took between a cold rolled steel decoiler and a garbage bin. The decoiler momentarily stopped and the person proceed ahead. That’s when the machine started up and injured the man. Alternative paths were available to get around the operating machine.
